Athletic Department Philosophy

Our desire is to provide an environment that will enable our student athletes to be especially successful on and off the playing field. It is imperative that we provide them with knowledgeable instructors that are well versed in the fundamentals of sports and that apply them consistently on a daily basis.  It is equally important that these leaders ultimately understand that academics are determinate of a student’s future and treated as so.  There are several characteristics that we use to formulate our practices.  They are dedication, fortitude, competition, mutual respect, diligence, tenacity and most importantly, camaraderie.  True participation of any sport can be channeled through these facets that will undoubtedly build sportsmanship and develop mental, physical growth. The process of a student’s athletic career will have an indefinite lasting impact on their lives.  What they learn in these short few years, will prepare them in invaluable ways that cannot be attained or taught anywhere else, but through athletics.

Our mission is to support students in achieving and maintaining their optimal fitness/health potential and diligently contribute to a safe and healthy school environment for all.

10x10 push-ups
10x10 squat jumps
4x50 air squats
4X50 crunches
10 40's

Superset pushups and squat jumps then air squats and crunches. Short rest times is best.
